Welcome to Ho Strik
As you will see,
Ho Strik is not like other yarn stores.
Ho Strik is all about yarn – good yarn. I am very picky in my choice of yarn. We spend a lot of time knitting, so the yarn quality has to be right.
I have a large selection of patterns from Rowan, Isager, Hjelholt and Gepard yarn.
Rowan makes English and German patterns
Isager has some in German and in English.
It will be a big help if you have an idea of what you are looking for when you come – then I can better guide you in the right direction.
You are very welcome to bring your own pattern with you. There are so many talented designers in Denmark today who make great, contemporary designs – and they are good at getting them translated into English and German, so have a look – it’s a quick and easy way to order a pattern.

Ravelry, a knitting community
At Ho Strik, I’m happy to help find the right yarn for your pattern to get the results you want.
I do not sell you the “cat in the sack”, because it does not benefit anyone. I am very focussed on quality and also that the yarns are made as environmentally conscious as possible. We want to enjoy our clothes for a long time after we’ve spent many hours making them.
I also have a large selection of buttons and knitting needles. For example from Addi, Pony Perfect, Knit Pro and good bamboo and rosewood knitting needles. Accessories by Clover, Pony and Prym.
Gepard Garn has a great selection of beautiful yarns and accessories. I have selected the finest and best wool / silk and cashmere yarns.
There are many models in our shop in Ho, so you can feel the yarns and try out models before deciding on the model and the yarn.
Opening hours this week
In order not to drive in vain, it is important to check the opening hours. I am a chronic pain patient and therefore my shop doesn’t have the usual opening hours. On this page you can see the opening hours of the current week. Even if the opening hours fall on a public holiday the shop is open – unless otherwise stated.
Dienstag / Tuesday
13.00 – 16.00
Freitag / Friday
13.00 – 16.00
Sonntag / Sunday

From 1 March 2021 - Denmark will reopen quietly again. We are still living in an uncertain time,
and whether the Government can decide to make
local shutdowns - we do not know.
Therefore, it is important that you keep up to
date on local shutdowns - as they can be short-lived.
I will do EVERYTHING to inform in this box. That is - that my opening hours are now
set to all the time - there will be local shutdowns,
you must inform yourself in this post or on facebook.
Opening hours in the coming weeks
Click on the link to Discover Denmark – here you can see the opening hours and possible changes of the next weeks.
There are, for example, changed opening hours in connection with my own holiday, Fanø Knitting Festival and Christmas.
